High School Programme Ambassador \u2013 Lauvie from Belgium<\/h2>\n

Hello everyone, my name is Lauvie. I\u2019m from Belgium and I\u2019ve been here in Ireland for a month now. I\u2019m trying to do as much activities as possible while going to school every weekday. So here is one fun activity that I did because maybe like you, I saw on social media and wanted to go to the famous \u201ccliff of Moher\u201d. But then saw that it was on the complete opposite side of Dublin\u2026<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t

THE CLIFF OF HOWTH<\/h2>\n

Howth is a lovely seaside town located northeast of Dublin and easy accessible with the DART (train). It\u2019s the great place to go to enjoy a little (or long) hike with an incredible view on the sea!<\/p>\n

You follow small paths all along that goes up until the border of the cliff.\u00a0If you want, you can prepare an itinerary here<\/a> or just walk along the cliff and take in the incredible view of the waves crashing against the rocks.<\/p>\n

There is even a small hidden beach down the cliff where the bravest can go for a swim. Believe it or not I saw seals from there!<\/p>\n

Oh, and be careful not to fall in the water while walking along the cliff, or to be carried away by the wind!\u00a0No but seriously; I recommend you to provide good hiking shoes and a windproof-jacket.<\/p>\n

The hiking shoes because the paths can be very steep with little and unpredictable rolling rocks that make you slip on your bum if it has rained. Which is most likely to be the case since we are in Ireland. And the windproof-jacket because it can be very, very, windy on\u00a0 the top!<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, it\u2019s hard to predict the weather but I still advices you to try to go there when it\u2019s sunny or when the sky is clear in order to enjoy as much as possible.<\/p>\n

One more tip: you can download different routes here<\/a> to prepare your itinerary to not get lost \ud83d\ude09 But I\u2019m sure you won\u2019t.<\/p>\n
