Easter break is over, now is time for the final stretch

The gang at the Dark Hedges

Hi all,

We hope you all had a wonderful and well-deserved Easter break. As the break comes to an end, it’s time to get back to school for the final stretch of the academic year.

With only six weeks left in Ireland, we encourage you to make the most of your time here. Take advantage of the improving weather and go for walks, visit parks, take trips, and hang out with your friends.

We would also like to extend a warm welcome to Carlotta Gommel, Lucie Mickeler, Margaux Durrleman, and Vera Aprile, who have recently joined us for term 3. Welcome to ISI! We hope you have an incredible time here.

For those of you preparing for summer exams or the leaving certificate, we wish you the best of luck in your studies. Remember to stay focused and dedicated, and don’t hesitate to reach out to your teachers or classmates for help and support. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, please know that we’re here for you.  Also, as the school year comes to a close, we want to remind you of the exciting opportunities available to you. We encourage you to participate in all school trips, especially for those in TY year. These trips provide a unique and memorable experience that you won’t want to miss, and they’re a great way to say goodbye to your school friends.

And finally, this week, we had the pleasure of visiting the Giant’s Causeway, Dark Hedges, and Belfast with some of you. We had a lovely day, and even had a chance encounter with Joe Biden, who is doing a visit to Ireland, on the motorway on our way back from Belfast to Dublin! Check out the video of it and some of the lovely pictures we took of the trip.

As always, we wish you all the best for the remainder of the academic year and your future adventures. Remember to create lasting memories with your friends and classmates.

From the High School Team,

Aimee, Bruna, Maebh, and Sarah
