Halloween weekend

Hi everyone!

We are approaching Halloween weekend, and we hope you are all very excited for Mid-term break.

This week in ISI, we had our annual Halloween party. It was a huge success, and everyone had a lot of fun. We had pumpkin carving, fancy dress, board games, music and lots of sweets…!
Well done to Zoe and Kervi who won our pumpkin carving competition! They made a great effort and worked so well as a team. Also, well done to Tara, Romy and Luisa who won the costume competition! It was lovely to see everyone getting involved and socialising and making new friends 😊

Next week, our social programme for Halloween mid-term begins! This week is a chance for you all to relax, spend time with your friends and family and enjoy the well-deserved break. Many of you will be taking part in the ISI social programme and will attend Epic Museum and St.Michans Crypt. There will also be a day trip to Cork, we will go to Cork City and visit the famous Blarney Castle! For anyone travelling home, safe travels and we hope you enjoy spending time with your family!

We hope you have all enjoyed your first term here in Ireland. You have all made a lot of progress since you have arrived, and you should all be very proud of yourselves. We recommend that you reflect on your first term and have a think if there is anything you want to do for the rest of your time here, for example join a new club or make more of an effort to improve your English. Term 2 is just around the corner, and we hope you begin with a positive enthusiastic attitude 😊

Hope you all have a great weekend and a great Halloween night. Have fun and be careful. Please see below for some pictures from during the week.

From the High School Team,
Bruna, Jessica, Maebh and Sarah
