Welcome back to all of you. We hope you all had a great and well-deserved Easter break. We hope you all ate plenty of Easter eggs and enjoyed your 2 weeks off. Some of you stayed here in Ireland and did some travelling around the country, while some of you went home to see family and friends.
As we’re approaching the student’s last month in ISI, we also welcome two new students who will be joining us for the final term. A very warm welcome to Malena Weimer from Germany, and Nadia Amiaud from France. You’re both very welcome girls, and we hope you enjoy your 5 weeks here in Ireland.
As we get into May next week, it’s time to all turn our attention to the exams. You have all been working so hard since you arrived, and we’re sure all your hard work will be paid off and your report cards will all show it. We would also like to thank you all for making the effort for coming into the city and seeing your coordinator 😊
With the weather getting warmer, and the days getting longer, we hope you’re all making the most of our glorious Irish weather 😉 Time to get rid of the coats, hats, scarves, and gloves….
Over the Easter we had some very lucky students who got to experience their first prom. The TY students from Manor House had a great time and really had a ‘ball’ 😉
It’s great to see so many of you getting involved with your schools’ sports and activities. It’s not easy living in a new country learning English and signing up for activities, so for that ISI commend you 😊
This weekend is a bank holiday which means there’s no school on Monday. Here are some tips on what to do over the bank holiday weekend:
- Bray to Greystones cliff walk
- Howth cliff walk and Howth Harbour
- Dun Laoighre Harbour
- The Phoenix Park
- The Botanic Gardens
- Any of our fabulous beaches
Finally, we’d like to finish up the newsletter complimenting the creativity of some of our students with their photos. Keep up the good work everyone – keep smiling and taking pictures 😊
Here are some photos and a video that you guys have shared with us this week…
From all of us here on the high school programme, we wish you a happy and safe long weekend. Have fun and remember to take some photos for next week’s newsletter 😉
