Dublin walking tour

Hi Everyone ,

I hope you are all well, it is hard to believe that there are only 7 weeks left before the end of school term. As the evenings get brighter, not necessarily warmer unfortunately !! we would encourage you all to get out and enjoy the scenery. I have put together a list of walks and hikes plus some beaches not far from the city, that you should try before you leave. Get a couple of friends together and explore the countryside.

 Walks and hikes

Although the Howth Cliff Walk  is the most popular, there are plenty of great walks in Dublin to tackle, just a few to mention :

Beaches

Any of the best Dublin beaches are a stone’s throw from the city, and they provide a great place for a stroll and/or a swim. Here are our favourites:

If any of you are avid sea swimmers you should check out some of the areas below , be aware the water temperatures are pretty low but you will always find plenty of swimmers even in the depths of winter.

The Forty Foot Sandycove     Bull Island Clontarf

Vico Baths Dalkey                    The Great South Wall Poolbeg

Seapoint Monkstown               Claremont Beach Howth

For any of you that have just joined us for term 3 I have included a walking tour of Dublin, so get out and familiarise yourself with the city.
