March Madness

Moritz, Silvan, Jacob and Niccolo at Newgrange

Another week has ended here at ISI and students are busier than ever. We have plenty to look forward to over the coming weeks, as we approach the biggest national holiday of the year in Ireland, ☘️ St Patrick’s Day! ☘️ There is plenty to see and do around Dublin and Ireland. If anyone would like some suggestions on things you could take part in, please do ask the High School Team.

March is also Women’s History Month which aims to highlight the contributions of women in history and to modern day society.

We celebrated International Women’s Day this week on March 8th. This is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality. 👩✊✊👩‍🦱

IWD has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. IWD is not country, group, or organization specific. 💐🌷🌹👩

Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued & celebrated! 😄

With Easter holidays fast approaching as well, keep your eyes peeled as we will have an action-packed Midterm Social Programme organised for those of you who are not travelling home for the midterm break.

As we always say, time is going by so quickly. Please remember to make the most of your time here and get involved with all the activities you can.

Here are a few photos to have a flick through from the last week. We hope you have a lovely weekend and a wonderful week ahead.

From all of us here on the High School Team ,
