An einem Tag kurz nach der Ankunft findet für alle Schüler eine Orientierungsveranstaltung statt, bei der Sie die anderen ISI-Schüler kennen lernen und Informationen über das Programm, Ihre Schule und die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel erhalten. An diesem Tag lernen Sie Ihren zugewiesenen Koordinator kennen, mit dem Sie wöchentlich Kontakt haben werden.

It can vary depending on the school places availability at the time of application. Some students receive confirmations straightaway, and some others might have to wait until closer to travelling. School confirmation timing varies depending on the term and when the application is received. For Term 1 applications received before Easter, places are normally confirmed after the Easter holidays in the year prior to entry, approximately 8-12 weeks before arrival. Term 1 applications received after Easter can take around 3-4 weeks. For Term 2 or Term 3, applications should normally be made 4-6 weeks in advance and placement is confirmed as soon as possible. School placement depends on availability and acceptance, so ISI Dublin cannot guarantee a specific school or a fixed confirmation date. Please note school places are out of our control. The sooner you apply to the program, the more chance you will have of receiving your school place of choice.

For State School Programme students, the basic uniform is included: trousers or skirt, shirt or blouse, and jumper or sweater. Additional uniform items such as crested jackets, PE or sports gear may be extra depending on the school. For Private School Programme students, uniform, PE and sports gear are not included and costs depend on the school. Once placement is confirmed, ISI Dublin will provide the relevant school guidance.

Basic schoolbooks are included or supplied through the school where applicable. Any additional books that are not supplied by the school are excluded and must be purchased separately. Once the school place is confirmed, ISI Dublin will advise if any extra books or materials are required.

Yes. Christmas accommodation is not included in the current High School Programme, and students must return home during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The initial arrival and final departure transfers to and from Dublin Airport are included. Additional transfers outside the included arrival and departure dates, including Christmas travel, are charged separately.
